Liberal much?

You know what I like about Eugene Weekly? is how they're so liberal.
You know what I don't like about Eugene Weekly? is that they're sooooo liberal!

I love that Eugene Weekly allows Eugene's people to really think for themselves, as opposed to being guided by politicians and the like.
But I don't like that when they do report on some issues, the writer's views are always so liberal and therefore biased and easy to argue only one side of an argument.

I think that as an open minded publication, they need to be able to argue both sides of an argument fairly, so that the reader can truly be educated and judge for themselves!

Dear Media

As you may or may not know, Lindsay Lohan has been "dating" another woman, Samantha Ronson. She seems to be very happy but she doesn't want to admit that there is a relationship going on.
The media has been trying to 'catch' the two lovebirds and magazines have tried to bribe Lindsay for her story.
I say. . . . . just let the girl be. It's tough enough having to deal with the paparazzi constantly in your face, tracking your every move (lord knows, I would HATE it), but then to have all these tabloids printing all these 'stories' confirming her lesbian love affair, is just plain . . . . INTRUSIVE!
I mean, I don't think that Lindsay is a great actor nor do I think that she can sing without vocal 'help', but I must say that I did like her movie "Mean Girls". I don't think that she's perfect because everyone know's she was addicted to drugs and rehabbed . . . 3 times!
I just think that people have a right to their privacy. If she's not ready to come out of the closet, than leave her be. She's young and has her whole life in front of her. And her life is her choice.

Finally!

Left to Right: Virginia's Gov. Tim Kaine, Delaware Sen. Joe Biden and Indiana's Sen.
Evan Bayh.

I have been following this year's presidential campaign pretty closely. After all the turmoil that our current president has gotten us into, it's apparent that the country is ready for a new leader.

Well, Barack may finally be coming to a decision as to who will be his running mate. I mean, the election is ONLY about 3 1/2 months away. So what's the rush?

Personally, I hope to see Obama in the White house before McCain has to put on a new pair of Depends. I would love to see Hillary be his running mate, but as of late, it doesn't look to be that way . . . . EVER!

I mean think about it, IF Barack Obama is elected as our president, you have to admit that, if we could foresee any president's assassination, it would be his! And I think that Hillary would be strong enough and ready to step up to the plate, if, God Forbid, that should ever happen.

But he has his own agenda, and hopefully it will unfold for all of us to see. As of now, these 3 look to be the vice president hopefuls.

Let the blogging begin

So, I've decided to create my own blog. I have a wide range of loves and interests and I will be commenting and posting on all of those including politics, books, local and national news and well . . . anything that feeds my fancy. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to check up on me!
