I do not like Eugene's Police Chief Robert Lehner.
He has slyly removed a complaint filed by 2 citizens against the police department, from the police auditor's view. Eugene Police Auditor Cristina Beaumud only realized that there was a complaint missing b/c her assistant noticed a number missing in the numbering sequence.
Lehner still has not given a straightforward answer as to why the file was removed, except that it was a confidential informant.
So what?! The police auditor can't audit civilian complaints against the police b/c of a 'confidential informant'? Aren't informants supposed to have protection from the 'bad guys' that the police are looking for? If so, than what difference does it make for the auditor to investigate a complaint against the police?
UNLESS- if a police officer is who the informant is tattling on???
Lest we forget, that the main reason
WHY we have a police auditor is b/c for over 6 years there were
numerous complaints made about police officer Roger Magana. Complaints that went ignored b/c some of the women were drug users or had constant run-ins with the law. Yes, the same man who raped and sexually abused over a dozen women, some of which, he called his 'informants'.
So tell me,
WHAT IS IT THAT YOU'RE HIDING FROM US MR. LEHNER??? And if you're NOT hiding anything, than why not be more compliant?
