might I say that . . .

I am so happy that Britney has steered herself off that horrible and destructive road that she was on!
In the latest issue of OK! she gives her first interview in a very long time! And she is happy and looking the best that she's looked in a REALLY long time!
I'm happy for her recovery and even happier that she allowed her dad to step in and take charge when the same attempts made by her mother, were thwarted.
She's back on track and I expect to see the once SUPER pop star, move back up the ranks and reclaim her title from "15 yr. old-but I dress like I'm 30" Miley Cyrus!

smells fishy, if you ask me

I do not like Eugene's Police Chief Robert Lehner.

He has slyly removed a complaint filed by 2 citizens against the police department, from the police auditor's view. Eugene Police Auditor Cristina Beaumud only realized that there was a complaint missing b/c her assistant noticed a number missing in the numbering sequence.

Lehner still has not given a straightforward answer as to why the file was removed, except that it was a confidential informant.

So what?! The police auditor can't audit civilian complaints against the police b/c of a 'confidential informant'? Aren't informants supposed to have protection from the 'bad guys' that the police are looking for? If so, than what difference does it make for the auditor to investigate a complaint against the police?

UNLESS- if a police officer is who the informant is tattling on???

Lest we forget, that the main reason WHY we have a police auditor is b/c for over 6 years there were numerous complaints made about police officer Roger Magana. Complaints that went ignored b/c some of the women were drug users or had constant run-ins with the law. Yes, the same man who raped and sexually abused over a dozen women, some of which, he called his 'informants'.

So tell me, WHAT IS IT THAT YOU'RE HIDING FROM US MR. LEHNER??? And if you're NOT hiding anything, than why not be more compliant?

will work for sex

Left: Police Officer Kenneth Breiner
Right: Police Chief Frank Coffin

A police officer in Beaumont, TX is trying to reinstate his position after being suspended indefinitely for having sex during a prostitution sting.

Breiner testified to experiencing manual stimulation, oral sex and vaginal penetration with women at two spas.

Police Chief Coffin said that he didn't agree that Breiner should have had sex with the prostitutes, which is what drove him to the decision to suspend him indefinitely.

Breiner felt that he needed to have sex in order to reach a conviction in the case. AND he feels that the city should be responsible to pay for his medical costs if he contracted an STD. AND he boasted to co workers about how good the sex was, although he denied that he boasted, saying that he was just BSing. But yet in court, he said that having sex was a job and there was nothing pleasurable about it. Oh yeah, and he said that he's still been "true to his wife", this whole time.

RIIIIGHT!!!!!

HIgh Algae Levels

This really sucks b/c this is my family's favorite lake to go to!

Due to high algae levels, health officials have issued a health advisory for Dorena Lake. Fortunately, the blooms of toxic algae is concentrated at the southernmost end, where Row River feeds into the lake.
Warnings were posted on the restroom doors, a bulletin at the concession stand and at the campsites. Officials warned that people should avoid swallowing or inhaling the water droplets and to try to avoid skin contact with the water. The lake will not be closed during this time.

It makes sense

Although, I was rooting for Clinton, I can understand Obama's reasoning on choosing Biden to be his running mate.
Biden is strong in area's that Obama lacks experience. Biden has over 30 years of experience in the Senate, and most importantly, has the most experience in foreign policy or defense, much like Obama's presidential rival, McCain. And with Georgia under attack by Russia, foreign policy has come to the forefront for the two presidential hopefuls.
