Britney Bummer

Rumors have been swirling that Britney was set to perform at this years 2008 Video Music Awards, especially since Spears was featured in several promos alongside Russell Brand.

But Britney's manager, Larry Rudolph, denied reports to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that Britney would be performing. He said that she is busy recording her new album, so she will be unable to perform.

Bummer! It would have been nice to see her try to redeem herself after last years much criticized performance.

Check out Britney's lethargic lip syncing disaster below!

it's just funny to see someone fall

Demi Lovato tripped on stage while opening for the Jonas Brothers concert last night. I know I know I know. . . . it's not nice to laugh at people when they're down. No pun intended.

It's just funny to watch someone fall on stage. Thankfully, she wasn't seriously injured and she played it off well.

Check it out.

American Idol adds another judge

American Idol decided to add a new judge, since viewership has decreased over the years. She's Kara KioDiguardi and she's a Grammy nominated songwriter. She's written songs for Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Santana, Pink and much more.

Idol execs hope that the addition will boost viewer ratings and give more 'girl power' to the dominantly male judges panel.

I'm sure Paula had no trouble at all being the only female in the panel! Besides, Kara is a cuter version of Paula.

Do you think that adding another judge will boost viewer ratings? How do you think Paula feels about the addition?

Do you think Paula's gonna be jealous of her new judge-mate? And what if the 4-judge-panel-thing doesn't work out by the end of this season? What's the chance that they cut Paula for the newer improved Kara?

D-I-R-T-Y

Just a little tid bit to add about Eugene's Police Chief Robert Lehner. As I wrote earlier, I suspect Mr. Lehner to be, well . . . . dirty. Now to add fuel to my fire, I just read that along with restricting our Eugene police auditor access to a particular complaint against the police, he has never supported having a police auditor.

Prior to getting hired in Eugene, Lehner worked as the police chief of staff in Tucson, where he opposed police auditing by a police review board. However, the Tuscon mayor and council overruled, and voted in a police review board after a dozen police officers were charged with robbery, molesting minors, assault and other crimes.

ROBBERY? MOLESTATION? Disgusting!

Not to mention, that Lehner made the ridiculous choice to have the SAME internal affairs officer that was investigating the police taser-ing of a protester, ALSO investigate the protesters for additional charges.

SO THE SAME MAN ASSIGNED TO INVESTIGATE THE POLICE FOR MISCONDUCT, WAS ALSO INVESTIGATING THE SAME PEOPLE THAT HAD FILED THE COMPLAINTS ON MISCONDUCT??!!

SUUUUURE! That's not biased at all!!!

The first thing that comes to my mind, when an officer of the law, doesn't want to be policed himself, is : WHY NOT? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?

Dirty dirty!!
